Kenneth S. Krempetz
Born in 1931
Although he is no longer with us, Kenneth Krempetz was the driving force behind the beginning and continued success of AMA Glider.
High school graduate, attended numerous auto technical classes for Studebaker, Chrysler Corp, & Mercedes Benz. Spent his working years in new car auto franchises as an auto technician, retired in 1997. Model airplane enthusiast since the age of eight. Flown competitively in RC pattern, RC gliders, RC indoor scale, RC electric endurance, RC electric old timers, indoor/outdoor FF gliders and indoor FF rubber.
Kurt J. Krempetz
Born in 1955.
AMA Glider's current content writer since Ken Krempetz's passing, and a prior author of many of our original articles.
BS.& MS.in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
U.S. National Champion in Unlimited Catapult Glider 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.

After graduating from college in 1978 have been employed at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in the field of High Energy Physics. Model airplane enthusiast since the age of 5. Father and son, both Kenneths have also been model airplane enthusiasts most of their lives. Flown competitively in RC pattern, CL stunt, indoor/outdoor FF gliders and indoor FF rubber.
Kenny L. Krempetz
Born in 1986.
Son of Kurt Krempetz, and participant in AMA events.
Bartelett High School-Bartlett, IL. 2001-2005. Model airplane enthusiast since the age of 5.
Other Projects: Runs a Disc Golf Shopping business.

Born in 1992.
Grandson of Kenneth Krempetz, the IT Specialist who does the programming and database work behind the scenes at AMA Glider.
Systems Administrator at GigeNET, a datacenter and cloud hosting provider.
